  • My personal laptop I use for most things outside of work.
• 💻 Apple MacBook M2 Pro (14”, 2022)
  • Work issued laptop I use to help build Gametime
• 💻 Custom Built Dual Boot Desktop circa 2020
  • AMD 5950x, RTX 3090, 96 GB Ram
  • Originally used for HPC research and gaming. Now primarily used for prototyping projects and development for the Distributed Computing class I help teach.

  • 40" 5k2k 120hz ultra wide monitor
• 🖥️ Dell 2720Q
  • 27" 4k 60hz monitor that I keep vertically oriented. Mostly used for things I want up while I’m working but arent my primary focus. References, papers, dashboards, spotify, etc.

Development Environment

• Goland
  • I’m a huge fan of the JetBrains suite of tools and use Goland as my primary IDE. I was a former vim user but was converted to IntelliJ during my time at Amazon and have stuck with JetBrains IDE’s ever since.
• Cursor
  • I’ve been toying around with AI for personal projects and right now Cursor has been my go to. I use Github Co-Pilot as well, but I tend to reach for Cursor when I am experimenting with AI for writing code.
• Ghostty
  • Ghostty is dope! Its a fast, open source, and cross-platform terminal that I really enjoy using. I’ve tried out Warp and while it’s pretty cool, I prefer a standard terminal experience. Since I usually live in tmux or ssh sessions I don’t get a ton of benefit from Warp. Before I transitioned to Ghostty I main’d iTerm and the built in Ubuntu terminal.
• Dotfiles
  • My dotfile aren’t public (I should clean them up), but I use YADM to manage them. I really only have configurations for tmux, zsh, and vim in here, but I keep them private because they include private host names for things from work.
